Brief summary:
Haruhi arrives in front of the Host Club and finds a young boy wearing glasses looking for Hunny. Hunny then appears from inside the room and recognises the boy as "Chika-chan". All of a sudden, however, Chika proceeds to attack Hunny. The two then engage each other in a battle of martial arts while Renge appears to become a spectator. After a while, it looks as if Chika wins the fight when he manages to knock Hunny off using a pole. However, later on it's obvious that Hunny is the winner because he manages to pin Chika's pants down using shuriken. A very surprised Haruhi later on finds out that Chika is none other than Hunny's younger brother, Haninozuka Yasuchika. The two brothers are proficient in Karate and Judo and have been thought to stage a fight when they spot each other. Unlike Hunny, however, Chika dislikes sweet things and despises his brother for abandoning the family's martial arts training in favour of cakes and stuffed animals.
Hunny used to be in the Karate club but didn't enjoy it because he had to pretend to be manly and forgo his obsession with sweets and stuffed animals. One day, however, Tamaki came along with a bunny puppet trying to recruit Hunny into forming a club together. Tamaki, however, wants Hunny to use his true image which is that of cake and stuffed animal lovers. Hunny pretended not to like those things but Tamaki told him that a real strength lies in one's ability to be true to oneself. Hunny who's curious about this decides to ask his father but his father ends up challenging him into a fight. Much to the instructor's horror, Hunny manages to beat up his own father. Ever since then Hunny is asked to never fight again because otherwise the country risks undergoing inspection from the United Nation for possessing weapon of mass destruction (Hunny himself). Because of this Hunny quit the Karate club and join Host Club. Ever since then, Hunny's relation with Chika has been strained.
Tamaki decides to launch a mission to reconcile the two brothers. The twins, on the other hand, think that Chika simply has inferiority complex and prefers to do something else. Hunny also tells Tamaki that he doesn't mind being hated by his brother. All he wants is for Chika to grow up quickly. The twins, on the other hand, think that it's Hunny who should grow up quickly. Their conversation, however, is interrupted by the arrival of Chika, who proceeds to attack Hunny as usual. In his anger, Chika calls his brother an Alien and reveals to the Host Club that Hunny is capable of eating 3 large cakes after supper. Hunny also has this creepy 'special cake night' every week where he and Usa-chan devour unusual amount of cakes. Despite this Chika was happy that there was a time when he and Hunny used to get along. Back then Hunny's preference for sweet things and stuffed animal was still under control. However, there was a time when Hunny had to temporarily sever those things.
During that time, a person told Hunny to find the strength to accept oneself. Ever since then, Hunny turns into an Alien that he is now. The Host Club members are horrified to hear this especially Tamaki since he's the one who said those words. Hunny apologises to Chika but he's happy for being recruited by Tamaki into the Host Club and therefore won't change himself. Because of this Hunny asks Chika to settle this like a man, Haninozuka way. If Chika wins, he'll at least stop eating cake at midnight. Everyone is dumbfounded by this lame bet but the fight goes on anyway. Mori thinks that Hunny will probably let Chika wins. At first it does look that way but eventually Hunny beats him up badly. As it turns out, Hunny can't let go his cake obsession and even decide to celebrate his winning by having special cake 3 times per week. Haruhi finds it disturbing that Hunny's love for cake proceeds his love for his brother.
